Everything You Need to Know About Imalac at CES 2019

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the global stage for innovation — a gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. For 50 years, CES is where next-generation innovations have been unveiled and brought to market. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it attracts the world’s business leaders and pioneer thinkers to a forum where the industry’s most relevant issues are addressed.

In January 2019, Imalac is exhibiting their very own innovation of Nurture, the breast massage system for nursing mothers that provides personalized compression massage to replicate hands-on pumping.

Taking place in Las Vegas, NV with 11 official venues, CES spans more than 2.5 million net square feet of exhibit space and features 24 product categories among 20+ Marketplaces. Next month, CES will showcase more than 4,500 exhibiting companies, including Imalac, as well as manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology. Combined with the 250 conference sessions taking place, there will be more than 180K attendees traveling from 150 different countries to witness the upcoming wave of consumer electronic innovation.

Imalac’s participation at CES 2019 is intended to make a powerful impact on the world of breastfeeding. In an interesting twist, Imalac’s partnership with the Southern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition (SNBC) will provide attendees of CES with a once in a lifetime experience. SNBC is an organization based in the metropolitan area of Las Vegas, that inspires, educates and builds community support to make breastfeeding the norm for infant feeding in Nevada. Attendees have the opportunity to witness firsthand how Nurture can help women in real life situations, starting with our partnership with the SNBC. This initiative is the first of its kind and sure to make a impact on the breastfeeding industry!

Beta testers of Nurture experienced dramatic improvements to their breast pumping experience. In fact, using Nurture demonstrated an average reduction of 17 minutes in pumping time (decrease of 72.3%) and up to a 32% increase in average volume of milk expressed. The Imalac team is proud to be an advocate of breastfeeding and pumping and is excited to reveal how Nurture competes in the med-tech industry.

In addition, Noreen Sablotsky, Co-founder and CEO of Imalac, has been asked to participate in the panel discussion “Feeding Gets Smart: Tech Delivers Full Bellies.”
