Imalac is currently recruiting breastfeeding moms who use a breast pump to participate in a clinical study regarding the efficacy and benefits of the Nurture Breast Massager.
About Us
lmalac, Inc. is a FemTech company that help moms achieve their breastfeeding goals through innovation in the breast pump and breast pump accessory space. It developed Nurture by Imalac, a breast massager and pump accessory that makes your pump work better. By providing gentle, hands-free breast massage, Nurture works with standard electric breast pumps to get you the most milk possible, faster. We have devoted a research team to studying the exact effects Nurture has on breast milk expression.
About the Clinical Study
We are looking for Miami-Dade or Broward County (FL) residents with the following criteria:
- Lactating Mothers age 18+
- At least 3 months postpartum
- Exclusively pumping (not nursing on demand)
- Single infants (no twins or multiples)
Data collection will take place over 3 days from your normal pumping location. Must be willing to sign an informed consent document, comply with study procedures and fit inclusion criteria.

With COVID-19 in mind, the research team here at Imalac has implemented new practices in order to minimize the potential spread of disease.

With the number of COVID-19 cases in Miami-Dade and Broward County still on the rise, we are now including the option of a virtual initial visit. Instead of an in person training, materials will be left at your home or workplace and a video or virtual instruction session will be sent/conducted electronically.
Participants are compensated for their time and efforts.
