The world’s largest consumer electronics and technology trade show, CES, kicked off today in Las Vegas, and the Imalac team is there making history on several fronts.
Imalac debuted its new product, Nurture, a breast massage system for nursing and pumping mothers that provides personalized massage designed to replicate hands-on pumping, a technique endorsed by top lactation consultants to help improve pumping efficiency. In an early pilot study, pumping mothers who used Nurture saw a 72.3% reduction in pump time and more complete emptying of the breast, which equated to 32% more milk per session. The Nurture system includes a versatile nursing and pumping bra that is comfortable, stylish and meant to be worn all day. Attachable massage cups that slide easily into the bra when it’s time to pump make using this system both convenient and a hugely efficient time saver.
Now! To reveal the big surprise we hinted at last week, Imalac has partnered with the amazing mothers behind the Southern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition (SNBC) to show CES attendees exactly how Nurture works. For the first time ever at CES, two nursing mothers from SNBC are demonstrating Nurture’s revolutionary technology live at Imalac’s booth from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm PST today.
Next in the list of Imalac “firsts” this week surrounding CES, Imalac is also launching their Nurture Kickstarter campaign today. Those who would like to show their support can contribute by visiting the campaign page where you can order Nurture at an exclusive launch offer of up to 45% off the retail price. Hurry because supplies are limited at this huge discount! Nurture’s Kickstarter campaign concludes on February 22nd, at which point all items will return to the full suggested retail price.
One last treat for those attending CES, Imalac founder and CEO Noreen Sablotsky will be sharing her expertise on breastfeeding and how Nurture by Imalac improves mothers’ lives during the panel “Feeding Gets Smart: Tech Delivers Full Bellies.” Attendees can hear Noreen speak about new advances in infant feeding on Wednesday, January 9th from 10:30-11am PST.
